Least you forget, today is St. Patricks day and thus very important to me as I am Scotch-Irish. And in case you have never heard of St. Patrick I will enlighten you by clicking here. Besides wearing green, I am working as a casting director today which is new and exciting. This is the kind of thing I love: interacting with people and watching them do what they love, namely act! The ‘acting factor’ with this group is minimal but enough to give a taste. We are casting for a lottery commercial and so I get to see people over the top excited and being generally goofy. Needless to say, it has had it’s moments. But the best part of this whole thing is the diversity; that is why I love what I do! Sure there are some tasks that have to be routinly done, but there is always something new and challeneging around the corner. I am always being put in situations (or getting myself into situations) that test different parts of my personality or require me to think in a different way…etc. Of course I have days that could be on the mundane side but that is when attitude is everything. I find something new to learn everyday; something about my job or the world around me that teaches me a new way of seeing His creation. Happy St. Patties Day!!!
