5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
It seems like I have a never ending stream of things to be anxious about…the wedding, the new house, work, my relationshiip with the Lord, whether or not i am really going to convince Becky to walk down that aisle….

But then God gave me this verse this morning and it so convicting and yet so comforting all at the same time. I have nothing to fear accept God. If I live my life and make my descisions based on a holy fear of God and what I owe Him, I cannot expect any words to come from the mouth of God when I get to heaven except, “Well done, Good and Faithful Servant!”
