To be totally honest, I was not really looking forward to the rest of this week. We are suppose to be doig a shoot outdoors all day tomorrow and to say that the timing was a bit poor (with everything else going on) is an understantment. But I had resinged myself to the fact that God knows everything that is going on in my life right now and if we were going to be doing this shoot, then He was going to give me the strength to do a great job.
There was the prospect of pushing the shoot till next monday (even worse for me personally) because of weather, but shoots rarely get pushed back like that in the commercial world. But then God worked a miracle and while talking with the director and my boss, the three of us (meaning the director and my boss) decided that it would be best to push it until AFTER THE HOLIDAY!! Which in Brandon Land means until after the wedding and honeymoon! It is like God took (literally) this huge burden off of me and said, “Ok, you are going through alot right now, let me help.” I am so thankful.
Plus, Now I can get better prepared for all the work here at the office that I need to do before I leave on the honeymoon. I could jump on my desk and dance a jig (assuming I knew how to dance a jig and my desk wasn’t covered in paperwork)

Wedding bells are ringing like crazy. Not so much for me…yet. There were like 6 wedding that I saw last weekend- it was crazy! And then I realized that I am just going to add to the chaos in 10 short days. People keep asking me if I am nervous or if I have cold feet…and to be honest, I always thought that at some point, I would have second thoughts. But God has been so good! Since I got down on one knee (not easy for a 6′6 guy) and asked the beautiful woman in front of me to be my wife (her name is Becky:), I have never looked back and never had a doubt. I can’t wait to be married to this amazing woman that God has given to me (and me to her). Course, I have also been working like a madman the last two weeks and have another shoot on Thursday, so I have had a few other things on my mind. But in those quite moments, when I am alone with the Lord, there is no hesitation or doubt that He has great things in store for us.

I saw this article this morning and had to pass it on! I love Christopher Guest’s movies…my first was Waiting for Guffman, which I actually had to watch twice before I laughed. (Special thanks to Brandon Cook for making me watch it a second time) Since then, the scripts and actors have only gotten better.
