The Fall Preview, Take 1

I love this time of year…the fall colors come in, the weather cools off, and I get to sit on my butt and watch a whole slew of series premiers. It is a time of reuniting with old friends (House, Prison Break, O.C., ) And make some new ones…Fox is getting a head start on the preimer season which usuall starts the last two weeks in Sept. Fox will already have the majority of their Fall line-up running by the end of the FIRST week in September. Here is a links to help wet your appetite…

The Premier Line UpĀ

As usual, more than I ask for…

God was totally gracious when it came to the talk with my boss about money; and He was even more abundant in His giving when I talked to my boss about my future with the company…
Essentially, he is giving my own company to run under the Big Fish umbrella. It will handle Indie and low budget type stuff (which I am really excited about) and I will gain a huge amount of experience about running my own company with the safety net of Robert and Bill’s knowledge of experience over the last 30 someodd years…

“Please sir, I want some more”

For some reason this line from the old Oliver Twist movie poped into my head when I thought about the meeting I have in a little over an hour with my boss. I have been working for him for about two and a half years and we are going to be talking about my future with the company and more importantly a raise; actually at this point there won’t be much of a future with the company if I don’t get a raise… Not that I don’t appreciate the expereince that I have gathered over the last couple of years but I gotta eat! And I am going to be earning for two in the not so distant future (Lord willing)….but more on that later….Anyone who actually reads this in the next hour would be greatly appriciated if you would pray for me to have discernment and strength.

Fallen off the face

Yep i have been gone for a while…there are alot of reason…probably the biggest single reason is this girl right here: Becky But it isn’t her fault…I mean when i turn the charm on she doesn’t stand a chance! I have been really busy at work as well. Mostly traveling work (NY, LA, North Carolina, etc.) which doesn’t make my baby very happy (or becky for that matter) :) But somehow Harley is surviving. It is really cute when I go to pick him up at the boarding place because he nearly jumps a 3-4′ fence to get to me when I come around the corner. I think he just likes to be at home; and I can’t blame him! That is another reason for my deliquency: I have moved! And let me tell you…this is about as close to ghetto as I think I will ever come. Not quite as ghetto as becky’s last apartment but not far off.
