While talking with my mom this morning, I realized that memorial day is generally just another day of sleep for me. I have honestly not given it a whole lot of thought as to why we observe memorial day…until this year that is. When I actually stopped to think about it, I have alot of people in my family who have served in the armed forces and to whom I should be grateful. So I decided today to actually verbalise that thankfulness to my family. Just a thought but you never know what a word of thankfulness will mean to someone else for such a huge sacrifice.

This is going to look a little wierd posted in the middle of what will look like a stream of entries. However, this will be the first true entry in this blog. One of the reason why I picked this software was because you are able to put entries in with past dates so I can take stuff I have already written and put it in here. Anyway, short story made long, I am working on this all day today and tommorrow and we will see how far I get.
