Father, you reveled an incredible blessing this evening…I just ran into an old friend from wheaton @ the local starbucks(!), and come to find out, not only has she moved to dallas, but also several other film guys and they live lest than a MILE away in my same apartment complex! How incredible are you??!! Let me grow closer to you as a result of this blessing and let me be an encouragement to them. Thanks you father! May out friendship do something great for you!
So what we wanted to know was if the Christian Primos Girl existed…who is the christian primos girl? well, besides the unique style and personality (see first post) she knows how to appropriately walk the fashion line between modesty and sexy. (Hey! we’re guys and we are being honest) But here is the deal…the even more important part: She Must love God above all else. She must demand that of us. Everything else falls into place if He is number one in her life. All of us have made stupid decision at one point or another…but if we earnestly seek Christ, then through God’s grace, our past is our PAST and it is behind us; and now we try to follow hard after Him.
W/o sound prideful, we are good looking guys and if we wanted to be dating someone, we could…BUT we want Her. And we are willing to wait for her…does that mean that the next girl we date will be the one we marry…not necessarily but it does mean two very important things: she will have a strong possibility of being her; and we will treat the girl we are dating with the respect that our future wife would want, regardless of whether or not it is the girl we are dating. (Put another way, we will treat the girl we are dating as if our future wife were right by our side until we know who she is)And until God sees fit to give us that special lady that is ours to cherish, we want to honor him with our relationships both friend and romantic.
Father, I know this is basic, but I need help in keeping my life in dedication to you. I need guidance to make decision that reflect and bear fruit which honors you. Let me see the world with spiritual eyes. Not only in illuminating your word but more importantly, let me see your hand at work in the world around me; let me see the battles of evil around me for what they really are; let me be aware of when I am straying from you and have the strength to follow hard after you. Give me dedication and strength daily to pursue you as my only rock, my only foundation.
This is to you my love…crazy as it may sound, I can see you at times…not in detail of course, but I see you evident in my decisions; I see you as I study the word; I see you as He leads me down HIs path. Someday he will join our paths as far as the eye can see and I will be yours to cherish you and protect you; you will be mine to encourage and support. Our love, our fights, our future will all be watched by him as a parent watches two children…how is it possible to love you so much already?
I am actually pretty excited to write this entry which is not the norm unfortunately…Regardless here it is and this is dedicated to shane, chris, and ryan.
There is a local dallas hotspot called “Primos” off of mcKinney where we will occasionally go for dinner or as the mood strikes…now primos has good food, good drinks, etc. but it is more importantly a place that is frequented by my generation who are on the way up (or at least think they are); one could classify them as the beautiful people. On a recent visit with some good guy friends, we were discussing life and liberty and especially girls =) The topic of our future wives came up and how we are preparing now to be “her” man, how stuff will change, and also what we were looking for in a future mate.

So is it called the mac store or the apple store…maybe it is the apple store. anyway, i am here and had a couple of minutes so why not do a “remote broadcast” to the blog. I wrote a couple of entries last night but they were offline so they won’t be posted until later on this afternoon. other than that I am trying to get better about posting on my blog, not so much cause I think anyone reading really keeps up with it that much but more importantly b/c it helps clear the mind on a semi-regular basis. speaking of which…check out the next post…

i wrote two posts that were probably some of the best verbal vomit I have come up with in quite a while and now I am really upset because my blog program ate them. funny how something that i have been really excited about posting for a couple of days now, can’t even leave a mark in my brain deep enough to remember the subject. maybe i am getting old….
so i wrote my ex-girlfriend today. i was sick and tired of talking with her every couple of months and there being this huge “elephant in the room” that we weren’t talking about; namely her dating a good friend of mine a month after we finally broke off our two year relationship. You know what? i have never in this blog claimed to know the mind of God…if that is what he had for her, that is great! yeah, it stung a bit but that was 2 years ago and i have moved on. She was my first true love, and it will be weird to hear in the future that she got married to someone else. That doesn’t change the fact that she is an amazing girl AND more importantly, she is Not MY amazing girl. God has someone awesome out there that is going to know my socks off and i can’t wait to meet her. =) in the mean time, i am going elephant hunting in my current friendships.
